Intermediate Spoken Vietnamese (Language Texts)
Published in Paperback by Southeast Asia Program Publications (1994)
Authors: Franklin Huffman and Tran Trong Hai
Average review score:

Best Intermediate Vietnamese Language book Ever
Not only is this a helpful book, but it is one of the only intermediate texts on the Vietnamese language. I have been a student of the Vietnamese language for 7 years, and have never come across a book as thorough as this. If you want to futher your vocabulary, and knowledge of grammar and aspects of Vietnameselanguage, this is the book for you. Its only weakness is that it doesn't use actual literary examples. It can be very mechanical at times, but it does give you coloquial phrases, and helps that make it easy to understand!! A must have for intermediate students of Vietnamese.

Good handy solution manual
I was very confused with my progress in EXST 801 class. Since I bought this book, it gave me a chance to practice all the problems that I would have needed for the exam. A must have - for students who are not very comfortbale with Statistics.

Spirited Visionary - Role Model for the Future
Even though Isadora Duncan was born at the turn of the last century, her wisdom and vision is powerful for readers today. Not only was she a powerful, woman/dancer/artist, but also a progressive philosopher. Feminist extraordinaire! If you want to learn more about this visionary read "her words". Everyone wants to tell you what she was like. Find out from Isadora herself.

It's Gone; Did You Notice, A History of the Mesabi Range Village of Franklin, Minnesota, 1892-1994
Published in Paperback by Joseph J. Milkovich & Associates (12 May, 2000)
Author: Barbara A. Milkovich
Average review score:

A superbly presented biography of a community
Barbara Milkovich's It's Gone; Did You Notice?: A History Of The Mesabi Range Village Of Franklin, Minnesota 1892-1994 is the historical accurate and vividly presented account of founding, growth, and transformation of a Mesabi mining village where 211,000,000 tons of iron ore were mined to fuel a nation's burgeoning industry. Milkovich blends oral history with documentary evidence to definitively present Franklin and the small communities that it once included. Here is a truly American story of people, places, and events impacted by a large extractive industry. Enhanced with 37 vintage photographs and maps, extensive footnotes, bibliography, appendices, and an index, It's Gone; Did You Notice? is a superbly presented biography of a community, and would well serve as a template for presenting the histories of other singular and unique communities around the country. Highly recommended for students of Minnesota history.

The Jacksonian Era (American History Series)
Published in Paperback by Harlan Davidson (January, 1997)
Authors: Robert Vincent Remini, A. S. Eisenstadt, and John Hope Franklin
Average review score:

Splendid little book.
The Jacksonian Era is a splendid little book of concise invaluable history. It addresses the major themes of the Jackson Presidency: slavery, the Bank War, the robbed election, Indian removal, and even dabbles into Jackson past, which is full of grand military victories. What many people fail to grasp is the fact that without Jackson's desisive victory in New Orleans, during the War of 1812, with the British, we may not have a perfect Union, or a Union at all.

Keeping Bees: A Handbook for the Hobbyist Beekeeper
Published in Hardcover by Carriers Beekeeping Supplies (June, 1983)
Author: Franklin H. Carrier
Average review score:

this book covers the 2nd and following year of beekeeping
i would like to say that this is not a beginners book for beekeeping. the very first line states "this book covers the second and following years of beekeeping and is written for hobbyist beekeepers who have kept bees for at least one year". it does recommend a beginners book which is a companion volume to this book.
